1. Data controller

Code Sentinel Data is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any inquiry regarding this page, contact code@sentineldata.com.ua — correspondence is handled directly by the team, not a third-party queue.

2. What we collect, and why

Account information. If you register, we store your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password (we never store your password in readable form). Used for login, order history, and support.

Orders and payment. We record which datasets you purchased and when. Your card and payment details are entered directly with the payment processor and handled entirely by that third-party service — we never see or store them.

Session cookie (csd_sid). A first-party technical cookie used to recognize your session and manage downloads. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with any ad or analytics network. Because it is strictly necessary for the site to function, no cookie-consent banner is shown for it.

Download logs. When you download a file, we log your IP address and browser user-agent alongside the download. This exists purely to detect and prevent abuse — for example, automated mass-downloading of paid samples — not to build a profile of you.

Approximate location. We derive your country (not precise location) from your IP address for basic, aggregate usage statistics. We do not store precise geolocation.

Support messages. If you contact support, we keep the conversation so we can assist you and, where useful, improve the site.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or marketing pixels on this site. We do not use your data for anything beyond operating the store, fulfilling your orders, and supporting you.

4. How long we keep it

Account and order information is kept for as long as your account exists, or as needed to maintain accurate records for tax and accounting purposes. Download logs (IP address, user-agent) are kept only as long as needed for abuse prevention and are not retained indefinitely.

5. Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing code@sentineldata.com.ua. We handle these requests directly and aim to respond within 30 days. This applies to every visitor regardless of location, including if you are in the EU, the UK, or California.

6. Changes to this policy

If what we collect or why ever changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect it.
